Metal: Hellsinger is an incredible game of range. A range of Hells, torments, beasts, bosses, and even weapons. As you plumet deeper into the Hells, you will uncover more and more of these great gameplay features. The final weapon that the player will come across is the Hellcrow. This Traitor Sovereign will serve you well in specific circumstances, so learning to harness it will be an asset to any player. Here is how to use the Hellcrow in Metal: Hellsinger.
How to effectively use Hellcrow in Metal: Hellsinger
Hellcrow is essentially a pair of boomerangs. They slice through enemies and arc back to you, dealing damage to enemies they hit even on the way back. Being boomerangs, this is a ranged weapon without ammo, so no reload time. Tt’s damage, range, and fire rate are all about average. You may even pass up on this seemingly average weapon, but if used correctly, it will surpass itself.
Rampage-enabled
One of the benefits of this weapon is the pure feeling of bliss as you throw your Hellcrows on-beat, slashing enemies to the floor as you run on through.
With this weapon, you’ll want to hit for two beats, leave one, then hit for another two, leave one, and so on. This will ensure that you keep a steady stream of thrown Hellcrows whilst keeping on-beat.
With a high fury and perfect timed throws, you’ll be one-tapping weaker enemies as your boomerangs hit each enemy twice. The damage may be moderate, but being able to hit four times in a small space of time is huge, especially when there are multiple opponents.
It would be generous to call this weapon a crowd-controller, those mantles go to Persephone and Vulcan. But this weapon provides you flexibility, speed, and hit counts that end up cutting gaps in swathes of enemies.

Without a reload, this weapon becomes a reliable tool for perishing numerous enemies in a pinch.
It fairs decently against stronger enemies, but it would be advised to switch if you have a stronger weapon on hand (which is all but Paz, by the way).
A Murder of Crows
The Hellcrow’s ultimate is truly a sight to behold.
A group of crows (a ‘murder’ of crows) will swarm around the player, dealing to all enemies they come into contact with. With this ultimate active, we can comfortably call the Hellcrow a temperamental crowd-control weapon.
This swarm deals great damage, so if ever you are cornered, you have a great escape planned that will demolish all of your oppressors.
All in all, the Hellcrow isn’t a great weapon to bring to a boss fight, but it is super effective when it needs to be. It tight spaces, when you are getting harassed by numerous enemies of various strengths, even when you simply want the feeling of rampaging without limits.
