Disney Dreamlight Valley is full of wonderful activities you can do for and with your friends. But from hanging out to giving them gifts, it may seem as though you are doing all the leg work. Well, how about you get Goofy to find some useful items for you? Goofy’s shop is a fantastic place to sell unwanted items for good money and buy items you may need. Here is how to build and use Goofy’s shop in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to build Goofy’s Shop in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To open his shop, you must first find Goofy and his derelict shop. They are both situated in the Peaceful Meadows, just south of the Plaza. You’ll need the Pickaxe to break the stones blocking your access to the Peaceful Meadow and to break the stones trapping Goofy in his house.
Firstly, find Goofy by using the map. Make your way to him and break the stones outside of his house to gain entry. Talk to him. Complete his fishing quest to unlock Goofy as a friend.
There will be a market stall just on the border between the Peaceful Meadows and the Plaza with a Scrooge McDuck sign outside. Go over and interact with it. Scrooge McDuck will appear, and will offer to build up the market again for 500 coins. Unfortunately, you’ll have to pay him.
Goofy’s store will then open, and will be immediately open for use.

How to use Goofy’s Shop in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Goofy’s shop will be somewhere you visit very often. His little market will contain goods such as seeds and vegetables that you can buy, so if your garden is a little short of seeds, then you can visit him for a quick restock.
But not only can you buy from him, you can sell infinitely to him, as well. Any items that you have spare or items purposefully crafted for selling can be thrown at him and he’ll give you exactly what it’s worth. It’s unclear of how he gets so much money, but let’s not look a gift horse in the mouth.
Buying from Goofy’s store doesn’t increase his friendship meter, unfortunately.
You can also invest further into his shop, allowing him to sell more items at once, at a max of two upgrades for six items.

As a shrewd businessman, Goofy has numerous stores throughout the valley:
- Peaceful Meadow
- Dazzle Beach
- Forest of Valour
- Glade of Trust
- Sunlit Plateau
- Frosted Heights
- Forgotten Land
Each store will have different items in stock. You must build them all up and all can be upgraded.
