How to Unlock Sea-Polished Basalt in Dragonflight

I hope those fish have sunscreen at least.

I haven’t gone fishing a lot in my lifetime, but when I did, I enjoyed it a bit. Not to the point that I would pick it as a profession, but from time to time I enjoy hitting the sea, or the lake, or the pond. Well, I live in the city, so that does not happen often. Anyway, in World of Warcraft, you get to fish as a profession and even make a profit out of it. But, in order to become the best fishing master in the world, you will need some special things with you. And guess what, we are getting one of them today. Here is how to unlock Sea-Polished Basalt in World of Warcraft Dragonflight.

So, if you are not friends with the Iskaara Tuskarr, then it is time to make amendments and bring them apples or something like that. This is because, before even attempting to unlock the Sea-Polished Basalt, you will need to have Renown 15 with this faction, otherwise you won’t get access to the Lava Pools. So you better do this Iskaaran people some favors and fulfil some quests in order to get their respect. Don’t worry, it shouldn’t take long. Once you do, you will have to level up your fishing skills until you are required to collect the Sea-Polished Basalt. Once unlocked, this Iskaaran item will be found in places where lava meets the sea. The best chance to find them is to locate Danielle Anglers, the fishing trainer, that is located just north of the Wingrest Embassy. So go ahead and travel there and begin collecting the Sea-Polished Basalt.
