How to Unlock ‘Raising Expectations’ Achievement

Unlike many other achievements in Hogwarts Legacy that will unlock after completing a quest or doing something specific during a quest, or even side quest, the Raising Expectations achievement will reward your skill. Go figure! Anyway, to unlock it, you will have to reach a combo of a whopping 100 hits. That is insane, but that doesn’t mean it is impossible to do. All you have to do is find the right place to deal some mayhem.

If you have the Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts Legacy, you can head to the Dark Arts Battle Arena to attempt this feat. There will be a total of 5 waves of enemies over there that you can replay endlessly. You will unlock this arena once you finish the Jackdaw’s Rest quest. During wave 4, you will have to deal with two Mountain Trolls that are easy to avoid. If you use your Basic Cast, you will be able to accumulate a 100+ combo.

If you don’t have the Deluxe Edition, or you would like an alternative, you can head to any Inferi nest. Go ahead and battle the Inferi by using your Basic Cast, again. Since you won’t deal any damage without casting a Fire Spell first, you will be able to deal an infinite amount of Basic Casts while dodging to get to a 100+ combo. Although the Basic Cast won’t damage them, these hits will count towards your combo counter. You can find Inferi nests in the Forbidden West during the night.

And that’s it! You will have to face very powerful foes and enemies, but if you time your dodges and attacks, you will be able to deal enough Basic Casts to get to unlock the Raising Expectations achievement in no time. Or, well, at least in a decent amount of time. Good luck, my combo dealing friends.
