The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is certainly an enthralling game to play, especially if you are interested in religious lore and the events of the Bible. Based on the religious upbringing of designer Edmund McMillen, as well as the religious event known as the Binding of Isaac, this 2D game lets players control Isaac and over a dozen other unlockable characters as they work to fight off the various monsters that will attempt to stop them and collect items to improve their prowess in combat.

Be careful when you take damage, because this game uses permadeath and when you die your game will be finished. However, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth does allow a playthrough to be saved so you can rest assured that your progress will not be lost forever. In order to unlock Judas in this game, you will need to defeat one of two bosses so that you can get him. One tip of advice while you are searching for the bosses is to always choose the Dead Cat in Devil Rooms, as this will give you a whopping nine lives and make it a lot easier for you to defeat them without stressing about losing your progress when you die. Keep a close eye on your hearts as well since these can be quickly depleted and if you are in a Devil Room you may not leave it alive, especially if you choose a 3 heart item when you only have 3 left, for example.

Who Are the Bosses and How Do You Beat Them?

The two bosses that you will need to defeat (although only one of them is required to unlock Judas) are Mom and Satan. Honestly, for some people those could be the same thing. You will need to defeat The Womb which can be accessed after beating Mom first, and then you will have to fight off the boss known as Mom’s Heart which can be found in the Womb. Once this is done you will have received Judas, who is one of the many collectible characters that you can use in The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth.
