Being able to continue the main storyline of Hogwarts Legacy will oftentimes task you to do things that can appear impossible at the time. However, the swift and constant progression made from the beginning could convince you otherwise. Today we will deal with such an event, in the form of a massive battle with one of the game’s fantastic beasts. It is a big one this time. Here is how to unlock the ‘Grappling with a Graphorn’ achievement in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to Unlock ‘Grappling with a Graphorn’ Achievement
In order to unlock the Grappling with a Graphorn achievement, you will need to complete the San Bakar’s Trial Main Quest. This quest takes place after the Lodgok’s Loyalty quest. It will require you to be at least at level 24, due to the nature of the quest. Speak to Professor Fig and then meet him at San Bakar’s Pensieve Chamber. Cast Revelio to unveil the secret on the wall, which is the clue for your next step. Travel south and, you will need to search for called Lord of the Shore. This search will lead you to visit the Graphorn’s Den. Yes, the Lord of the Shore is a giant Graphorn. Prepare for the battle by only using Damage Spells and Ancient Magic, all other forms of magic will be useless.
Once defeated, you can either kneel or continue attacking the Graphorn. Either way, you will unlock it as a mount. Choose to kneel and then ride the Graphorn back to the Pensieve Chamber. You can also use Floo Flames to do it more quickly, and then release the Graphorn from the Nab-Sack. With the Graphorn on the platform, the door will open, so enter the chamber and move forward until you unlock a cutscene. Then, interact with the Pensieve to witness San Bakar’s memory. Afterward, go through the crystallized door to go back to the Map Chamber and then speak with the Keepers’ portraits. This will end the San Bakar’s Trial quest.

After completing the mission, you will unlock the Grappling with a Graphorn achievement, thanks to you keeping yourself alive during the Graphorn fight. This will be one of the last Main Quests, so you better make the best out of it and begin exploring whatever there is left in the map for you. Good luck!
