How to Unlock “Flight the Good Flight” Achievement in Hogwarts Legacy

Look, mom! I'm flying!

While there is no Quidditch this year due to a less than creative idea from the Hogwarts headmaster, there is no reason why you shouldn’t use your magic broom elsewhere. If the Fast and Furious franchise has taught me something is that family is the most important thing. And also that street races are fun. Well, let’s address the latter, then. Here is how to unlock the “Flight the Good Flight” achievement in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to Unlock “Flight the Good Flight” Achievement

Like you might suspect, this achievement is all about the ability to flight. No, not with a Hippogriff, but with the broom. More specifically, you will have to beat Imelda’s time in all broom races available in the game. Don’t worry, there are only three. However, if you wish to complete them, you will first want to get a broom. To do that, you will need to complete your first Flying Class, which happens about 5 hours into the game, give or take (depending on how much you enjoy exploring). Afterward, go to Hogsmeade and visit the Spintwitches Sporting Needs. You will be able to buy a Flying Broom, setting you back 600 galleons.

Now that you own one, you will be able to take part of the broom races. Don’t worry, you will be notified once they are available. Notice that, after each race and before the next, you will be able to purchase a broom upgrade to take part of race 2 and 3 (1000 and 4000 galleons for each upgrade respectively). During the races, be sure not to miss any rings and collect all the yellow speed bubbles. The time to beat for each race aren’t impossible, so you can easily beat them in no time. Here is a table giving you more details about the three races.

Congratulations! You just beat Imelda’s times in all races. You will be able to purchase a final upgrade afterward in Spintwitches Sporting Needs, which will cost you a whopping 7500 galleons. Surely wizard students do have a lot of money, am I right? Anyway, prepare yourself for the flight and become the ultimate broom rider!
