How to See IXION Resources

We recommend that when handling your resources, you first click on the first icon on the bar at the top of your screen. The icon is 4 cubes, 3 at the bottom and 1 stacked on top. If you hover over this icon you will see ‘Toggle Resources HUD‘, make sure you turn this on. This will help you see what resources are available in each sections’ area. The bar will also show you the amount of resources you currently have but not their exact location on the Station. This is why you should toggle the Resources HUD so that you can see all this information freely and easily.

How to Transfer IXION Resources

You can transfer IXION resources via the cube icon on the menu at the bottom of your screen. This icon appears the same as the ‘Resources HUD’ icon. A new window will pop up on your screen after you click on the ‘Resource Management‘ icon. This will show you each Sector that you have unlocked, with all the available resources you have obtained throughout the game in each Sector. Each Sector is a numbered tab at the top of the display. Sectors that you do not have unlocked yet will appear a dark grey colour. You will want to have Alloy and Food in all Sectors as necessity materials, this makes it easier for you to access fast and easily. Instead of having to return to the Resource Management to move around basic materials.

Resources are only available to be transferred if they are located in a Stockpile with power and workers. You cannot transfer material if these requirements are not met.

Transfer Resources Step-by-Step Guide

  • Go into the Sector with the resources you wish to transfer.
  • Check the ‘Active‘ box on the resource you wish to move. This will show a tick when selected.
  • From here, hover over the Min and Max amounts under the category ‘Desired Amount in Sector‘. Set this to the total number of the chosen resource that you wish to stay in the selected Sector.
  • Alternatively, you can use the sliders on the left side of the screen (inside the circle divided into Sectors) which shows the max number of resources you have selected to have in the Sector.
  • Set either the slider or click on the and + on the Desired Amount to adjust the resource minimum that will always stay in the selected Sector.
  • When the resources go over this amount in the selected Sector, these will move into another. Your selected resources will never drop below what you have set as the desired amount.
  • Finally, to transfer these to another Sector. Click on the Sectors you wish to transfer the material in the ‘Export to Sector‘ category. Click on the Sector and this will fill in the box so that you know where the resources are going.
  • You can tick as many Sectors as you wish. If the other Sectors resources are too low, these will be prioritised first in the transfer of materials. So long as you set the minimum amount of the resource in the Sector you wish for more resources to be transferred to, these will automatically transfer over once the Export to Sector criterion has been selected.
