In some games, having too much freedom can be a detriment to the overall experience. If you can go anywhere and do anything with zero restrictions of any kind, there’s a chance you’ll lose interest, or the game will just stop being fun after awhile. But, the inverse can occur if a certain freedom is not willingly given to the player, but rather, taken by the player.
I, of course, am referring to the deific ability to take control of the day/night cycle in games that have one. For example, in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, there is no official way to time travel. But, players have figured out a method of doing so that breaks the meta of the game. It needs to be asked, therefore, if the same can be done in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

I am pleased to report that this is something players can do! In fact, it’s accomplished in much the same way as in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. To change the in-game time of day, you just need to change the time in your console / PC. It might seem simple, but be warned that changing your system clock can provoke a whole slew of concerns.

For example, time travelling in-game can — but isn’t guaranteed to — cause you to lose your entire save file. You might be comfortable taking that risk, but if you aren’t … it might be best to avoid it entirely. Ask yourself if the temporary impatience is worth losing hours of commitment to a single game. If the answer is no, then … well, you have your answer.
