How to Tame a Familiar

In the overworld of Cross Worlds, you will occasionally notice a grouping of blue butterflies. These are manifestations of Familiars before they reveal their true appearance. If you approach these Brighterflies — as they’re called — you’ll see a button with a hand appear within your possible actions. Click or tap that button, and the Familiar will appear.

But wait — in order to tame the Familiar, you’ll need Biscuits. You might already possess some Biscuits, but if not, you can keep playing the game; or, you can skip the hassle and buy them from the in-game store. There are many variants of Biscuits, and each Familiar prefers a different variant, so it takes some trial and error.

In any case, as soon as you’ve nabbed the right Biscuit, and as soon as you’ve made the Familiar appear, you’re good to go. The hand button from earlier will transform into a heart, so click or tap it once again. This will feed the Familiar one of your delectable Biscuits. It’s possible the Familiar will reject the offering, but if not, then congratulations! You’ve tamed a Familiar! Now, you can choose whether to use the Familiar in battle, or use them as fodder to strengthen your existing Familiars. Just don’t come crying to use if and when the creature stages a revolt.
