How to Start the Vexcalibur Secret Exotic NODE.OVRD.AVALON Mission in Destiny 2 Lightfall

Destiny 2 has just come out with another release, dropping alongside its new Season (number twenty!) and this campaign is named Lightfall. Players will have a whole new host of bad guys to deal with, especially since the Shadow Legion is finally ready to join the fray and unleash its evil upon the human race. Calus leads this nefarious group, and he has become a Disciple of the Witness in exchange for boosted powers. He now hungers for the Veil, and is willing to go through entire cities to achieve his goals. Defend Neomuna, a brand-new location on Neptune, and work to thwart the forces of evil once again! How Do You Unlock This Secret Mission in Destiny 2 Lightfall?

There are a few steps that you will need to take if you’d like to unlock this secret mission in Lightfall and earn the exotic weapon known as the Vexcalibur upon completing it. Although exotic weapons are very rare, they can be extremely powerful when in the right hands – or the wrong ones, but their power may not be used for the good of humanity! Without any further ado, here are the steps to unlocking this secret mission in Destiny 2 Lightfall.

• Firstly, you will need to head to the EDZ and then travel towards the Gulch, which should be a relatively familiar area by now if you’ve been playing Lightfall for a bit.
• Now you need to find all of the Vex Cubes which are hidden around the area, and there are six of these in total so don’t stop until you have found them all and obtained the Access Code which can be seen on the left of your screen.
• You can find the first Vex Cube by looking in the forest near some fallen logs.
• The second one is by the bridge with the ruined vehicles on it. Search underneath this bridge and you should see the node floating below it.
• After that, the third Vex Cube is on top of a cliff which can be seen opposite the bridge. Get up there and defeat the Cabal soldiers standing guard, upon which you can then grab the third Vex Cube on the machine.
• Your next three Vex Cubes are actually all together, which will make this second half far easier. Go to the shallow lake opposite the bridge’s side of the cliff, and look from your high vantage point to spot the other three.
• There is one in the middle of the field, one behind some trees next to the cliffside (look closely for the glowing aura) and the last can be found floating on top of the two signs for the highway.
• You’re almost done! Check the sky after you have all six, and no your game isn’t beginning to glitch. That’s the Vex Network grid!
• Follow it to a cave where you can then begin searching for the nodes. Once you get to the bottom you will be the start of the NODE.ORVD.AVALON quest, so enter it and get to completing this secret exotic mission! Good luck, Guardian!
