In the open-world exploration of Tower of Fantasy, you may come across a rather unique puzzle. This puzzle involves what’s known in the universe as a Chowchow Plant. In the beginning, it could be difficult to determine what’s meant to be done with these plants. But, the solution is remarkably simple. Here’s how to solve the Chowchow Puzzles, which can net players some rare Gold Nuclei.

How to Solve the Chowchow Puzzle

In the game, players can find Chowchow plants all over the place. But, the one we’ll use as example is at the coordinates -276.9, 834.3, on a small islet off the southeast coast of Astra. The Chowchow Plant looks like a big, blue anemone, in that it’s got many tentacle-like appendages.

In order to satisfy this puzzle and net its rewards, players will need to locate the water seed located somewhere near the Chowchow. Pick it up, and aim to throw it into the center of the Chowchow. If you’re successful, the Chowchow will eat the water seed and spit out a Gold Nucleus.

What are Gold Nuclei in Tower of Fantasy?

In Tower of Fantasy, the Gold Nucleus allows players to spin the Gold Nucleus Cache. For the uninitiated, the Gold Nucleus Cache is only one of this game’s three gacha systems. There’s also the Black Nucleus Cache and the Red Nucleus Cache. Players can choose to roll with one nucleus or 10 at a time. But, be warned — there’s a limited quantity of Gold Nuclei that can be found by exploring the world! If you’re looking to avoid spending too much cash, measure your risk and act accordingly!!
