How to Skip Wrecking Ball Sequence in Resident Evil 4 Remake

Bring in the big guns

There are a few moments in your escort mission with Ashley in which she will be the hero of the hour. Through stunning Knights to rescue Leon, to turning the necessary wheels to progress through the area. But in most circumstances it is both Leon and your job to make sure that Ashley is safe in these moments. Whilst these action sequences are more welcome than Ashley taking balls of fire to her face as you storm the Castle, these Call of Duty Zombie waves can feel a little repetition and demanding of players. Especially those who are on their second walkthrough, or if you are like me, who has put all of their money into the Punisher and is finding little success within the confinements of Hardcore. Therefore, this guide will offer you a way to skip the Wrecking Ball Sequence in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

The Wrecking Ball Sequence Summary

The Wrecking Ball Fight Sequence is just one of the many times that you must stand your ground alongside your Companion. This time however, the damage is not done against Ashley herself but on the vehicle that she mans the Wrecking Ball. The goal is to protect the vehicle long enough so that Ashley can do enough DPB (damage per ball) as she throws the Wrecking Ball against the concrete ball in the area. This Sequence takes place within Chapter 10 and whilst at this point you should be an expert when it comes to the action in Resident Evil 4 Remake, you may want a faster means of getting through to the other side of the wall.

How to Skip the Wrecking Ball Fight Sequence

For that reason, there is a way for players to break through the wall without Ashley lifting a finger. The way in which to do so is to use the most impactful weapons the game has to offer. Of course, this is the Rocket Launcher. However, with its pricing of 160,000 you may be thinking that you do not have that money to spend. For those who already have the Launcher, simply aim it at the concrete wall that Ashley is aiming the Wrecking Ball at a with one missile, the Launcher will obliterate a hole, giving you the most free pass into the next area.

For those who do not want the Rocket Launcher or do not have the funds to afford it without selling the majority of their weapons, you can use the Heavy Grenades. You will need to have x2 in your inventory at the time of the Sequence. Whilst this will not destroy the wall immediately, when Ashley hits the wall once with the Wrecking Ball, it will create the hole needed for the both of you to pass through. If you do not have Heavy Grenades, you can purchase the Recipe with the Merchant, allowing you to craft these Grenades using Gunpowder and Large Resources.
