How to Save Replays in Overwatch 2

Overwatch 2 manually records all matches. These matches can be found under the History drop-down as found via the main menu of the game. No matter the platform or console, this can be located once opening up the Career Profile section. From there, you have three options – Highlights, Replays and Game Reports. The one we are focusing on here are Highlights.

Overwatch 2 will only keep track of footage within a certain timespan – that of 24 hours. With Highlights, there are only five slots available to keep track of all matches you may have in a day, and this refreshes daily. Therefor, ensure to save the ones you want most before you play anything more than five games in a single day.

The option to save any given Highlight is possible from this screen alone and will remain on your profile just below these slots until you delete them. While these are easy enough to save and share from there, the same cannot be said for full matches. But you have other options.

Depending on the console and platform, players can manually do the recording themselves that will retain more footage than any highlight. For example, on PC, this requires one press of F9, and on PlayStation, simply hold the Share button to capture as much as 15 minutes of footage. This can be altered in your settings on the home screen of the console.

Overwatch 2 is available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S and Microsoft Windows.
