For a nice change, there is not a lot that needs to go into saving Governor Eudicot. It could not be any easier to do, but it is instead having the knowledge of how exactly to do it is where the trouble is.

You simply have to ensure that you have unlocked the lookout duty activity at the Garrison before the alien threat during year 14. This job role has to be unlocked, so in order to do that, ensure that your Perception skill is over 20 once you turn 12 years old. This should trigger the possibility of unlocking the event when interacting with the Garrison sector in any way. Select any activity you have unlocked there to trigger a particular piece of dialogue said by Rhett, which will unlock this as a possible job role.

Now that the lookout duty role is available, select it during the Glow season within year 14. Ensure to choose to sound the alarm to alert Eudicot of the threat to save her.
