How to Rotate Objects

For those just getting started on this game, you can rotate buildings using the default keybinding of the right mouse button. However, if you changed your keybinds for the mouse key to rotate the camera, this will negate its use of rotating objects. If this happens, you need to go into your Settings and adjust your keybinds.

To rotate objects, you only need to right click using the mouse. This will rotate objects instantly and at a 45 degree turn with every click. You can also hold right click on the object which will make it continually rotate. If this does not work it is likely due to control changes you may have made at the beginning of the game. Such as changing right mouse click to rotate camera instead of objects.

Keep in mind that you are limited as to what you can and cannot rotate. Buildings cannot rotate manually, instead these will auto align to whatever road they are up against. With the door pointing out towards the road that you have placed. The rotation of objects primarily comes down to rotating decorative/landscape items such as trees and rocks. You can however, rotate roads, but this is only with the 45 degree rule. Meaning that you are limited as to exactly where you can place these roads. With its rotation, it is only possible to place roads either horizontally or vertically. Your city will always follow this type of grid design.
