How to Replay Academy Ace Tournament in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

You can never win too many tournaments.

The Academy Ace Tournament in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet serves as a nice little capstone on the post-game; a big tournament to decide the strongest trainers in the school while promoting camaraderie and competition and all that jazz. But just because it’s a big tournament doesn’t mean it’s a one-off affair! Here’s how to replay the Academy Ace Tournament in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

After you successfully win the Academy Ace Tournament for the first time in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s post-game, the blue-shirted guy will remain at the Academy’s front desk. Apparently, the entire faculty and student body can be ready at a moment’s notice to do the whole thing all over again; all you need to do is talk to the blue-shirted guy, and you can play through the whole tournament again as many times as you like.

However, there is a catch here. While the first instance of the Academy Ace Tournament has fixed opponents in a fixed order, replays of the tournament will pit you against four randomized opponents, plucked from a stable of the school’s faculty and top-performing students. When replaying the Academy Ace Tournament, you may encounter the following challengers in any order:

  • Nemona
  • Arven
  • Penny
  • Jacq
  • Dendra
  • Saguaro
  • Salvatore
  • Tyme
  • Miriam
  • Raifort
  • Hassel
  • Clavell
  • Geeta
