After you crash land on the beach with your broom, your broom will break into dozens of tiny pieces. You’re unable to repair your broom yourself, but there is a helpful NPC that can repair it for you. After your broom breaks, you’ll need to locate the NPC named Allegra. Allegra is a ceramic artisan that will offer to repair broken brooms and even build new ones for you throughout your playthrough; the first repair is free, but she’ll charge you for her services from then on. Allegra can be found standing outside her house near the beach.

To find Allegra’s house, locate the wooden walkway leading off the beach and onto the grassy terrain. Once you get off the wooden path, her house should be on the immediate right. Allegra should be standing directly in front of her house, you’ll be able to talk to her immediately once she’s been spotted. Once you talk to her, she should automatically offer to repair your broken broom! Allegra will present you with your repaired broom automatically, though she’ll warn you that it won’t fly as well as it did before.

Once your family broom has been repaired, you’ll be able to go into town and apply for the delivery job. As Allegra said, your broom won’t fly as well as it did before, so you’ll need to earn some cash before you can get another one. After you earn 3 coins as a delivery girl, you can go back to Allegra and ask her to make you an upgraded broom! The upgraded broom should make deliveries much easier, which will help you earn even more money!
