How to Remove Crops in Palia

Is it actually possible?

Managing crops and collecting the harvest is easier said than done. However, what happens when you, by mistake, plant a different crop than what you intended? Well, removing what you planted would be the most logical answer. To do this in a simulator game would be as straightforward as in real life. However, can you remove crops in Palia? Let’s find out, shall we?

How to Remove Crops in Palia

Unfortunately, due to current game rules, there is no way to remove crops in Palia. Once you have planted crops on a specific garden plot, that plot is locked until it grows completely. Once you harvest the fully-grown crops, your garden plot will become available once again for you to plant whatever you want or need. One other way you can circumvent this limitation is by expanding another garden plot, although this could be time-consuming and even a bit expensive.

So, if you want to optimize and make the best out of your plots, you better make the best decisions when selecting a crop you wish to eventually harvest. This is even more important if you take into account that each type of crop takes a specific amount to grow, which will make your wait potentially a bit longer. It is uncertain if the developers will implement an ability to remove any crop before the harvest, but if they do, expect it to be a bit costly due to difficulty balancing reasons.
