Healing yourself, and to a greater extent, reviving teammates is a purposely lengthy and difficult process in Dark and Darker. The best way to keep yourself and your teammates alive is to have a Cleric handy, but even Clerics can’t just sling healing spells endlessly. Here’s how to refill Cleric spells in Dark and Darker.
How to Refill Cleric Spells in Dark and Darker
In Dark and Darker, all spellcasters, Clerics included, have a limited number of skill slots from which they can cast spells. You need to equip a skill memory on your character’s class page to enable casting a particular spell, after which it’ll show up on your spell wheel.

Even after you’ve equipped a skill memory, though, you only have a handful of casts per spell, usually around 5. When those casts run out, you can’t cast that spell anymore, even if you try to futz with your class page.
Refilling Spells
The only way to refill a Cleric’s spells is by resting at a campfire. If you take a break at a campfire, all of your spell casts will be restored to you. While Wizards have a secondary means of restoring their casts via the Meditation skill, campfires are the only way you can restore a Cleric’s spells.
There are ways you can increase the number of times you can cast a spell before needing a refill. The first and foremost means of this is to simply upgrade your Knowledge stat. The higher your Knowledge is, the more casts your spells will have by default. Additionally, certain equippable accessories can provide either bonuses to your Knowledge stat or flat increases to your spell memory limit.
Either way, though, you should make a point of conserving your spells as much as possible, as there won’t be many opportunities to refill or increase them. Don’t take your healing spells for granted!
