Yes, I’m going to state the obvious. It is not Soccer Story, it is Football Story. The developer has promised to donate 1 dollar every time someone says this, so go on to his Twitter Feed and remind him about his promise, in a friendly manner of course. You see, besides the naming controversy, Soccer Story surely is ambitious by introducing an odd but interesting combination of a sports game with an RPG. And thanks to the guys at PanicBarn, we have learned that not only does Pandas make pretty great masters of martial arts, but also pretty decent football captains. Here is how to recruit the panda in Soccer Story.

How to Recruit the Panda

While real life pandas are cute and cuddly, and deadly as well, apparently in the world of Soccer Story, they are great team captains. However, they are still sleepy and adorable. Here are the steps you will have to make in order to recruit the panda in Soccer Story. All of this will happen in the Woodlands and everything is close by.

  • Firstly, you will need to visit the Panda cave and check for clues. You will find that there is no Panda to be seen, but according to the guard, the Panda likes to meditate. You will see a trail of jam footprints.
  • Follow the trail of jam footprints, and you will find the Panda sleeping in the middle of some rock formation, resembling Stonehenge. You will need to wake up the Panda from its slumber.
  • West from the rock formation, there will be a bell being displayed. Shoot a football and pick it up.
  • Return to the Panda with the bell. Ring it and you will awake it.
  • If you wish to recruit the Panda, you will have to complete a very easy challenge in the testing grounds. Just shoot the ball towards the goal where the Panda is resting 20 times.
  • Next, you will fight the Panda. Don’t worry, it is a little soccer game. Score 10 times to succeed.
  • The last challenge will be a dribbling challenge using your dribble boost. Dribble between the cone course faster than the time limit to win and recruit the Panda.
