Meet Your Maker focuses on building and raiding. The object of the game is to kill as many people as possible and create a sinister lair. Your lair is your pride and joy because depending on how much work you put into it you can get a great kill count. In our last article, we focused on how to build outposts and what the purpose of an outpost is. In this article, we’re going to teach you how to use prestige in Meet Your Maker, because prestige, is something you absolutely need if you want to monitor your base’s effectiveness.
What is prestige and how do you use it in Meet Your Maker?
Once you have finished building your outpost and you’ve set your assorted traps, you’re going to learn about prestige. Finishing your build will require you to level up your prestige so you can earn rewards such as build capacity and experience. The higher level of your prestige the higher your rewards. You can reach up to level 9 prestige. You may have noticed your outpost has depleted and you’re probably under the impression that you need to rebuild another base. This isn’t true!
Once your base depletes you can level up your outpost by using prestige and this will refill the map back up. When you reactivate your base you will be able to gain GenMat and kill more raiders. The more raiders you kill the more prestige points you can earn. If you want to try to boost your prestige you should look into adding an advisor known as a Metamorph guard. This guard will have the ability to increase prestige by 5-20% so be sure to upgrade your advisors.
What happens when you level up prestige in Meet Your Maker?
There are a total of 9 prestige levels you can advance in. You may have noticed, once you’re in build mode, that prestige offers you great opportunities to kill more people. When you level up your prestige your capacity boosts up. This means you can add more monsters on the map and all of your nodes are refreshed. Now that your GenMat is replenished you can just go back and activate your base instead of thinking about rebuilding an entirely new one.
