What is Uprising in World of Tanks Blitz?

Uprising is a time-limited gamemode exclusive to their halloween event. In Uprising, tanks will rise from the dead – twice! The goal is to eliminate all of the other team’s lives, with each tank getting three. A the end of a tank’s third life, they will no longer spawn in, whittling down the numbers.

Every second, each player will accumulate more blood. Upon death, whilst waiting to respawn, a player gets to choose some abilities to bring with them into their next life, making them much more powerful. Some abilities are active, and others are passive.

Each player will start the game with an ability already installed, to start the game off with a bit of madness from the start!

More than one ability may be purchased if a player has enough blood for it!

How to play Uprising

Uprising is a time-limited event, meaning it will not always be available. The game will announce when a gamemode is soon to be available, so check the notifications menu often to be made aware of upcoming game modes. Some may return more often than others.

If Uprising is available, then you must open up the game mode menu, which is situated to the right of the ‘battle!’ button. If it is available, then it will appear and you must click it to activate it.

when it is activated, simply hit ‘battle!’ to join a game of Uprising.

Here are some things that you need to keep in mind when playing Uprising:

• Upon your first death, buy as many abilities as you can to inflict as much damage to the enemy as possible. There is little use hoarding blood, it will only inhibit your progress.

• Generously dish out your abilities as where you can. In the fast-paced game, you will want to deal as much damage as you possibly can.
• Due to all the negative effects that you will most likely be suffering from throughout the game, try to equip a bulkier tank. Abilities may improve the aspects of the tank that are lacking to improve them in the game, anyway.
• Don’t stick your neck out to capture the objective – focus on blasting the enemy to bits instead, else you will be a huge target for shells and hexes alike.
