It can sometimes be a dice roll to figure out what games can or can’t be played on Mac. In an ideal world, every game would be available on every platform. And, while some studios have learned of this world, the great majority are still left in the dark.

The Sims 4 released on September 2, 2014, and has been a constant source of content for EA. It’s quite impressive how, nearly a decade after its launch, The Sims 4 continues providing endless amounts of enjoyment for its dedicated base. But, one question on the minds of many is: how can you play The Sims 4 on Mac devices? Is it possible? I am pleased to tell you that it is! And, it’s easier than you might think!!

How to Play The Sims 4 on Mac

As mentioned, it can sometimes be frustrating being a gamer on Mac devices. But, EA has come in clutch in this case! In fact, all you need to do to play The Sims 4 on Mac is download and install the Origin client for Mac! Once installed, sign into your account! As long as you have The Sims 4 purchased, you will then be able to play to your heart’s content!

It should be noted, however, that while the full game is available via Mac, the free demo and 48-hour trial version are not. So, while you can add those to your library, the only way to play The Sims 4 on Mac is by buying the full version.
