Well, today we’re going to explain how to play multiplayer and co-op in Wild Hearts!

Unlike most other games, players can actually begin tagging along with others online directly after the opening moments of Wild Hearts, following the first major Kemono fight. You’ll find yourself in a dense jungle and be instructed to craft a campfire using a Dragon Karakuri. Once you have done that, you’re then able to begin playing online with others.

By default, the game offers cross-platform play, allowing players of all platforms to play together without barriers. Once crafted, to play online, all you have to do is sit down at one of these campfires by selecting “warm up” and then “Play online”. After you do that, you’ll be able to either search for a session or create one. In either situation, you’re able to add different party tags that will allow you to find specific games or sort out players with like-minded goals.

You’ll be able to search for players in the game via their usernames that they use, in order to friend and invite them. It’s also important that the host’s progress is the priority in sessions, so you won’t progress if playing with them. The exception to this rule though is that if you’re at the same exact point in the game’s story, you will progress your story as well. So there can be value in playing with friends and pushing through the narrative together.
