How to Play Duos in Rumbleverse

Nothing like throwing down with a tag partner.

As great as history’s individual wrestlers are, some of the biggest success stories belong exclusively to the tag teams. Two combatants against the world, teaming up for some of the sickest smackdowns in the universe, is a guaranteed formula for fun. If you’ve got a buddy you want to team up with, then here’s how to play Duos in Rumbleverse.

How to Play Duos in Rumbleverse

Rumbleverse’s party system works pretty much the same as Fortnite’s, so if you play Fortnite, you’ve probably already got a good idea of what you need to do. If you don’t, no problem, it’s super easy!

When you queue up in Rumbleverse’s lobby, you should see an open spot for a character with a plus sign button right next to your character. If you click on that button, you’ll get a prompt to invite a friend to join your game. Bear in mind that the player in question does need to be on your Epic Games friends list before you can invite them.

Choose a friend from your friends list and press Invite to shoot them an invitation. If they accept, they’ll appear next to you in the lobby, and you’ll be entered into your next game as a Duo! As long as one of you remains standing at the end of the match, you’ll both win!

Incidentally, Rumbleverse features full cross-play support for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via the Epic Games Store. You can play Duos with players on other platforms as long as you know their Epic Games account name. Just remember that an Epic Games account is different from a regular online account on consoles, and the name may be different. As before, you will need to have that player on your friends list before you can invite them.
