The game counts your score the moment you start. The game calculates the score in meters which keeps increasing as you keep rush through the tunnels. While many players keep trying to create and beat new high scores, there is a minor glitch which enables users to cheat.

The Tunnel Rush glitch allows you to leave the game while the score meter runs in the game background. It’s simple to do it, but may require a few tries before you can make it work.

Here are some steps to help you invoke the glitch and have some fun.

  • Fire up the game and start a session.
  • Play the game for a minute or two.
  • Now, once you have played for a bit and the score is counting, open a new tab on your browser.
  • To open a new tab, use shortcut keys of the internet browser you are using. For example, Google Chrome has Ctrl+T as its default shortcut keys to open a new tab.
  • Once you open a new tab, hover over the tab playing the Tunnel Rush game. Check if the score is being counted on the tab summary. You can also switch to the tab entirely.

If your try was successful, you will see a black background in the game with a running score. The counting will go on until you close the game. This is a simple yet effective way to fool your friends into thinking you are pro at playing Tunnel Rush.
