Finding the Service Hatch Key

When you first interact with that door, you’ll notice you need some sort of key to open the service hatch. If you haven’t already, you’ll need to find the Service Hatch Key. Go back to the Elevator Lobby, to the left of the South Corridor, and look at both elevators. The right elevator is busted, but the left one can still be hailed. Interact with the elevator doors to call it.

When it opens, walk on in. To your left will be a small surface for Protektors, and on the surface will be a Service Hatch Key. Click on it to interact with it and pick it up. It may be worth looking around the elevator some more.

With the Service Hatch Key, you can make your way back to the door at the end of Block A6. Interact with it and click on the hatch to use the key to open it. You will be met with quite the sight.

Picking the Lock

Now’s the fun part. Click on the mechanism to zoom in. On your right will be a display of the lock, and notches for the key. Your job here is to raise or lower each notch of the key to push the lock’s pins at the correct level.

Below each notch is a button that you will use to raise of lower them. To see what you are working with, press the ‘Funktion’ button to push the lock through. You will see each pin. If the pin’s lines don’t match up with the line of the lock, nothing will happen and you will have to tinker with the notches. Raise or lower in small increments so you aren’t doing this over and over again.

The lock will open when you have it right, and the door will unlock.
