And while some of the most memorable moments in NBA history have been dunks, none of them would be possible without a flashy pass ending in an assist. That being said, it requires a tremendous amount of precision and skill to pull off in NBA 2K23.

Before you can start making flashy passes during a game, you will need to adjust a few settings first. By default, passing in NBA 2K23 is set to “Normal” in the controller settings. This means that if you want to make flashy passes in the game, you will need to alter this setting. This can be done by;

  1. Go to “Settings” from the pause menu
  2. Scroll down until you find “Controller Settings”
  3. Head over to “Passing” and switch it to “Flashy”

Now, you can pull off a flashy pass during any style of game in NBA 2K23 by pressing the pass button, which is either RB (for Xbox) or R1 (for PlayStation). Simply point the analog stick in the direction of the player you want to pass the ball to and hit the pass button to perform a flashy pass. Alternatively, you can revert back to the default passing settings, and double tap B (for Xbox) or Circle (for PlayStation) to make a flashy pass during a game.
