But since dreams only happen while you sleep, at least we can alter those Shiny drop chances while creating sandwiches in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. You see, this sandwich mechanic is the perfect way to enhance your chance of finding several particular Pokémon, in this case, shiny Pokémon.
There are several recipes to use in-game that will alter what type of shiny Pokémon you will encounter more easily. Today we’ll talk about how to make a Dragon Shiny sandwich in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Bon appétit!
How to Make a Dragon Shiny Sandwich?
While you can talk with the chef in any in-game restaurant to view all recipes for your favorite sandwiches, to create Shiny Specific Sandwiches, you will have to unlock the Sparkling Power Sandwich recipe, which will only happen once you complete the game. That means, once the credits roll, you don’t need to get 100% of the game progress to unlock it. You will now be able to make Shiny Sandwiches to get your Dragon-Type shinies. Here are the things you are going to need to make a Dragon Shiny Sandwich.
Note: since the update, there are a couple of recipes you can follow to make a Dragon Shiny Sandwich, we will talk about two of them.

Classic Recipe
- Avocado
- Salty Herba Mystica x2
New Recipe
- Avocado x2
- Prosciutto or one Hamburger
- Green Pepper
- Red Pepper or Tomato
- Yellow Pepper or one Onion
- Any Herba Mystica x2
Be sure to pick up your ingredients in Deli Ciosos and other supermarkets across Paldea. Get those Herba Mysticas by doing 5-star or 6-star Tera Raids. While the new updated recipe needs more ingredients, the ability to use any type of Herba Mystica makes it less time-consuming for the player. Enjoy your sandwich and find those Shiny Dragon Types!
