The release of Road 96: Mile 0 has brought a lot of attention back to developers Digixart. A prequel to their inde hit game Road 96, Mile 0 follows some familiar characters from the first game, showing you how they got to where they are in the first game. You’ll encounter many memorable faces if you’ve played the previous game, while the gameplay is a mix between the originals Telltale style choices, with a touch of “musical rides”. These sections are heavy on the music as the name suggests, akin to games such as Sayonara Wild Hearts. Because this game leans into the music more heavily, the devs have planned to release a soundtrack alongside the game. While it’s not as common nowadays for games to include a separate DLC just for the soundtrack, Road 96: Mile 0 chose to be an outlier. However, this isn’t the only way to try and listen to the soundtrack. Due to the nature of how songs get released in current year, there’s always a few, if not more, songs that get released on a digital streaming site.

As of the game’s release, you can purchase the Road 96: Mile 0 soundtrack on Steam for $6.96. This includes all 14 songs from the game, featuring songs from local artists from around the developers, as well as more well known artists such as The Midnight. Alternatively, there is a section of the songs that are available on a Spotify album, with other songs available as singles as well. Wherever you end up listening to it. You might want to take a look at the setlist of songs before purchasing or listening to it.
