Ebb Software’s Scorn is a true survival horror classic with horrifying enemies to fend off and puzzle upon puzzle that will leave you scratching your head as it reveals itself. Progressing through its dense world is like pulling away layers like an onion with every new step.
But the disgusting creatures really are one of the biggest aspects of Scorn, not only for their twisted visual representations but the danger they pose to you as a player, just trying to make your way from one puzzle to the next. Quite possibly one of the most irritating, especially early on, is the Arbejdere (Workers) that wander halls. Today, let’s talk about how to efficiently kill them!
How to Kill Arbejdere (Workers) in Scorn
Though the Workers don’t typically look to pose a big threat, they can be pretty tough to kill, at the beginning at least. These are a smaller enemy that can be annoying to have to fight if you don’t have the right weapons or knowledge about how they operate. They’re also pretty well hidden at times too, blending in with their surroundings which can make it hard to detect them until it’s already too late.
They have a projectile attack in the form of a poisonous blast, so you’ll need to dodge them, even at a distance. Not only that but they also have a melee attack or two that they will unleash on players if they’re able to get in close enough. So, you’ll have to be persistent in making sure you’re always on the move in order to last against them.

if you want to kill them successfully, you’ll need to shoot them in the head with a weapon. For example, the pistol will put them down, and get the job done. If you’re just starting out though, something like the bolt gun will take you a whopping five hits in order to finish them off. So for that kind of situation, you’ll want to be quick, nailing hits on them in between their melee attacks.
