There are a number of wild animals that can pose a threat to your village and villagers in Farthest Frontier. However, none are as big a nuisance as the wolf. Who are arguably the most constant threat in the game and cannot be defeated one-on-one with a villager.

Since a solo villager will have little to no effect on a wolf, the best thing to do is attack it with groups of hunters, guards or soldiers using ranged weapons. Melee weapons are a bad idea for killing wolves because getting too close could lead to massive fatalities. Although, this doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be aggressive, just make sure to keep your distance.

After you’ve killed a wolf, the next step is to destroy its den so that the problem goes away completely. Otherwise, villagers could easily stumble across the den and die or more wolves could come back for vengeance. So, it’s a good idea to send some hunters to search for the den after you’ve killed a wolf.

Once you’ve discovered the den, you will need to kill all of the wolves around the den and then melee attack the den to destroy it. Keep in mind that destroying a wolf’s den won’t make them go away entirely but it will ensure that fewer of them pop up and that the surrounding areas of your town remain safe.
