Though they may be previously known to us as heroes or villains, the 45 characters of Disney’s Mirrorverse work together with Mickey to save their world from the “Fractures”. To unlock all of the characters, you throw a Crystal into the mirror – and you are either offered a choice from three or a random one will appear. Each character offers their own max stats – health, attack, defense, focus, base damage, damage resistance, max armor, critical chance, and critical damage. They also have their own set of abilities – core abilities, special abilities, and signature abilities. And then, they even have individual talents and traits. On top of all of this, though, is the Star rating – each character has a rating between 1 and 5 Stars. 5 Stars means they are the strongest Guardians in the game. So, here are a few of the ways to gain a 5 Star rating.
How To Increase Your Characters Stars in Mirrorverse
Game Chance
This list wouldn’t be complete without touching on the fact that sometimes the game will give you a 5 Star character. Even in the beginning and just playing the game – without getting into the Stardust, Orb, or Crystal stores – the game may give you a 5-Star Champion. (You can also take the chance of re-rolling your original set of Guardians if you’re unhappy with them, and potentially getting a higher Star count, by deleting the app and game data and starting over.)
Stardust Store
You can purchase Guardians with the class Stardust. There will be 8 Guardians listed that rotate every 24 hours and each Guardian is worth a different amount of Stardust. Sometimes you can purchase a Guardian for the first time at 1 Star. This means you can buy them, again and again, to level them up to 2, 3, 4, and 5 Star. Sometimes, though, the game will offer them already at 2, 3, 4, or even 5 Star level.
Orbs
The Orbs you collect can buy Stellar Crystals. You can buy 1 Stellar Crystal at 180 orbs or 5 Stellar Crystals at 900 orbs – which will give you 1 or 5 Crystals that will award a 2 to 5 Star Guardians. (2 Star is 79%, 3 Star is 17%, 4 Star is 3%, and 5 Star is 1% chance.)
The Orbs you collect can buy Famed Crystals. You can buy 1 Famed Crystal at 280 orbs or 5 Famed Crystals at 1,400 orbs – which will give you 1 or 5 crystals that will award 4 to 5 Star Guardians. And depending on which one you choose, you will have a limited-time offer on a higher chance of getting a particular Guardian.
Crafting Crystals
After you complete chapter 1, part 7, you unlock the ability to craft crystals. The tutorial shows you the 2-Hour Timekeeper Crystal, which you then throw into the mirror and are given a Guardian. Just like with any of the other Crystals, you can get any Guardian with any Star level – but if it is a duplicate Guardian, then this will increase the Star level of the one you have.
Dailies
Like most mobile games, if you log on every day, you can collect a prize. There is a week for brand new players that have a few Crystals. The VIP Calander there are plenty of Crystals. There is a storyline-oriented monthly calendar that has Crystals every 7 days. There is a monthly calendar as well that has Crystals every few days. And, like I’ve mentioned, with these Crystals you can throw them into the mirror and gain a Guardian (at various Star levels, and duplicates can always raise Star levels).
Paid Offers
When you click the Store button on the main page, this will take you to a second page where there will be an “Offers” button under the Store list. From there, there will be a list of offers, which you can buy (with real money). An example would be a 3 Star Guadian Choice Bundle for $2.99: which is a 3 Star Guardian of our choice from a list of 3, and some other in-game goodies. These offers change daily, weekly, monthly, and with events, and sometimes you’ll either be able to buy a Crystal that guarantees a 5 Star Guardian or straight buy a 5 Star Guardian.
