How to Hit a Draw Shot in PGA Tour 2K23
Adding spin to the golf ball is often called a draw shot when the ball spins and curves from the right side of the players to their left side. This is incredibly useful in hitting complex shots which require you to curve the ball. Let’s see how you can use the curve mechanic to hit a draw shot.
There are three main mechanics while hitting a shot in PGA Tour 2K23 including Spin, Loft and Curve. You can add spin by using the LB or L1 button, depending on the console you are using. You will notice a ball shaped icon appearing on the right side of your screen. Now, use the right analog stick to apply spin while holding the LB or L1 button. Moving the analog stick up or down determines topspin and backspin.
While spinning is a great tool, it will not help you hit a draw shot. However, it’s important to know how to spin first before learning the draw shot. For hitting the draw shot, you will use the left analog. Moving the left analog up or down gives you control over the height or loft of the shot. However, moving it left or right will give you control over the curve of the ball. To hit a draw shot, you need to move the left analog button towards the right side. Once you do that, you will see a “L” circular button going on the right side of the ball-shaped icon. Remember to hold the LB or L1 button before doing this, otherwise the ball-shaped icon will not show.
That covers everything you need to know to hit a draw shot. Here’s a look at All Courses in PGA Tour 2K23 if you are interested.
