How to Have Kids in Kynseed – Family Guide

When family is the name of the game for a life sim, you just have to know how to raise your kids right.

Kynseed is the latest sandbox life sim to release before 2022 comes to a close, and with it, plenty of familiar gameplay mechanics to discover and explore in a new simulator land. As one can expect for a title drawing numerous similarities to that of Stardew Valley, players can work their way towards integrating themselves into the dark fantasy world of Kynseed. The main goal is a simple one – keep the cycle going by creating generations of your bloodline to keep your save file alive and thriving.

How to Have Kids in Kynseed – Family Guide

For once within this genre of gaming, the requirement of actually going through with having kids in a life sim is a necessity. Every single person you can and will get to know dies in Kynseed as generations upon generations come and go within a single play through. This includes your own character and even children. That is as long as you have a character you can play as from your own family set-up.

The rules of the game are simple and unnatural. Players have a limit of being able to either reproduce or adopt a maximum of three kids. Adopting is more simple since it is actually carried out by simply exchanging 500 pieces of brass at The Shoe. When actually doing the deed, this is represented by a wheel mini-game that has a lot more additional steps to it.

The mini-game is triggered by gifting a rabbit corndoll to your spouse. Players must land the pointer on the yellow section specifically, but each area represents a different result other than taking into account the colours. That is one stork meaning one baby, two storks indicating twins, and a volcano icon meaning no baby.

Since this is a mini-game based more on luck rather than the best of timing, players can reload a prior save they have to retry as many times as they want for the result they are aiming for. Additionally, playing the mini-game on Festival days also prove to have a positive affect on the outcome such as Druida Day. Players can also feed up their partner with food items that increase and influence traits that will also affect the outcome.
