Slime Rancher 2 is home to some beautiful and awe-inspiring landscapes. There are iridescent fields, dangerous volcanoes, and gorgeous sea that stretches to beyond the horizon. The Starlight Strand is one of the other islands you can visit in the game, and its mystery will make you stay, if the beauty only compelled. Here is how to reach the Starlight Strand in Slime Rancher 2.
How to get to Starlight Strand in Slime Rancher 2
Feeding the Gordo
To get to the Starlight Strand, you must activate the teleporter that allows travel. But there is one particular slime blocking your way…
Walk over to this southern point of the Rainbow Fields:
Sitting there will be a Cotton Gordo, just waiting for you to fill it with carrots. Bring lots of veggies to pop this gordo; thankfully the Rainbow Fields are drowning in carrots! Once you have pumped that Gordo to its max, it will explode in a frenzy of cotton slimes.
Most importantly, however, it will uncover the entrance to a cave.

Activating the teleporter
Make your way through the small cave. There are two pots lying there for you to smash, containing resources and newbucks. At the end of the cave will be a little rocky outcrop with a switch and a good view. The switch is not dissimilar to those at the Ancient Temple in the original game.
Activate the switch by pressing ‘E’. In the distance, you will behold a magnificent display. A pillar will slowly descend, leaving in its place a glorious beam. The teleporter has been activated.
Retreat out of the hole and go around the island to the teleporter. It is very visible from a distance, but if you are struggling to find it, then look to the map. To the south-west of the Rainbow Fields, a dotted line will display the direction of travel, and the teleporter point.
Once you are there, all you need to do is step on the teleporter to be whisked away to a whole new island.
