How to Get the Blowpipe in Green Hell

Want to learn how to use a blowpipe?

You just recently learned that you can tame and care for your own animals and now you want to have your own? Is that right? It’s true that you can have your own fur friends in Green Hell and there’s only one way you can make sure they get to your base safely. Once these animals are in your care you’ll be able to breed, summon them, and interact with them. Surviving in the Amazon isn’t so bad when you have friends by your side. Here’s how to get a blowpipe to help you tame animals in Green Hell.

How to craft a blowpipe in Green Hell

The only way you can bring an animal to your base without hurting it is by using a blowpipe to subdue them. The blowpipe will distribute poison darts and they’ll be off to sleep so it’s easier to tie them up and haul them over to your camp. If you want to learn how to craft a blowpipe, it’s fairly simple, so here’s what you need to do.

The bamboo blowpipe is a practical ranged tool used to shoot darts at animals. This will put animals such as Capybara to sleep. If you want to craft a blowpipe you need the following resources: 1x long bamboo stick and 2x rope.

In order to make the ammunition needed for the blowpipe you have to get your hands on 1x unfinished darts, 1x poison dart frog, and a frog stretcher. The frog stretcher is needed in order to extract the poison from the frogs. This can be built by getting 4x small sticks and 1x rope. Making an unfinished dart is simple enough and requires 1x bamboo stick and 1x fiber.

How to craft Snare Trap

Another method you can use instead of crafting a blowpipe and poison darts is by using a snare trap. This is another way you can keep your animals alive if you want to bring them to your animal husbandry. A snare trap is a reusable trap, similar to the killer trap, and as you’ve probably already guessed it doesn’t kill.

You can use the snare trap on Armadillos, peccary, tapir, and capybaras. Once an animal is caught in the trap you need to cut them down and either kill them or keep them. If you want to craft your own snare trap you’re going to need 2x logs, 1x long stick, 8x rope, 2x stick, and 8x small sticks. To find blueprints for this trap you need to go to Elevator Cave. If you’re using the Spirits of Amazonian game mode you can find the blueprints at 38W 37S above a waterfall and boulders.
