How To Get Sentinel Nine And Skull Shaker Guns in Resident Evil 4 Remake

Make those heads roll

Who wants to see those Ganado heads roll? I know I do. For those looking to annihilate those pesky common and deranged enemies in Resident Evil 4 Remake, you must get your heads on the Skull Shaker. An appropriately named Weapon to say the least. Stand tall and strong in front of Ashley as you knock down those villains one by one, being the Sentinel of Valdelobos and a force to be reckoned with. No more bored Weapon names like the SG-09R or the W-870, no you are better than that. For those who want to shake things up inside Resident Evil 4 Remake, this is how to get the Sentinel Nine and Skull Shaker.

How to Get the Deluxe Weapons: Sentinel Nine and Skull Shaker in Resident Evil 4 Remake

The Sentinel Nine and Skull Shaker are exclusive items to those who bought the Deluxe Edition of Resident Evil 4 Remake. Whilst some players may feel disappointed to read that Weapons such as the Shotty have been removed from the game in favor for these Deluxe Weapons, they do provide you with different stats and abilities compared to the default you will find in the Standard Edition. These, just like your default Handgun can indeed be upgraded as you can obtain these as soon as you begin the game. The method to which you will obtain the Sentinel Nine and Skull Shaker is by playing through your game with the default Handgun until you locate the first Typewriter in order to save your game.

Unlike other Resident Evil Remakes however, such as RE2, all Storage areas are combined into the Typewriter alone. Therefore, you will not be looking for a storage box/case inside the Safe Room with the Typewriter. Instead, players need to interact with the Typewriter and select Storage. If you have purchased the Deluxe Edition, the two Deluxe Weapons: Sentinel Nine and Skull Shaker will appear here. As these will be the only items available in your Storage, go ahead and more them over into your Inventory to test them out. Keep in mind though that knowing how to keep control of your Inventory is crucial to Resident Evil as you will obtain ammo, herbs, gunpowder and more so you should always divide your attention to having both space for items and the best Weapons available in the game.

How to Use the Sentinel Nine and Skull Shaker

To assign the Deluxe Weapons, move them over into your Inventory, then click on their icon to bring up a menu. From here you can select Assign and which button you want the Weapon to be on. For easy access and memorability, you should move the Sentinel Nine into your Pistol slots and the Skull Shaker into your Shotgun slots for when you obtain the W-870.

What to Do if the Deluxe Weapons Do not Appear in Storage

If the Deluxe Weapons are not in the Storage case upon checking the first Typewriter, the best method we can recommend is to uninstall the entire game, including all DLC (Add-ons such as the Weapons and Costumes). By doing so the Deluxe Weapons should appear. There is also Expansion Treasure to be found within the Village for those who have the Expansion Treasure Map, another exclusive item as part of the Deluxe Addition.
