It will run through to February 15, allowing players to experience new challenges and earn rewards for doing so whenever is most convenient for them. There always tends to be much to unpack with a brand new event in Hunt: Showdown, so let’s get right into covering it from the top and eventually answer how exactly to get the all important Pledge Marks tied exclusively to this event.

What are Pledge Marks in Hunt: Showdown?

Hunt: Showdown has seen new rewards, challenges and story with its latest event of Devil’s Moon going live. The main development in this event is the requirement to free Soul Traps during its Bounty Hunts. We also have three other key modes of interest here. Firstly, “The Inferno” adds fire hotspots across the map that changes up how players battle in these areas. Secondly, challenges replaces Summons for the event, which changes weekly. Completing the milestones within each of the weeks gives players stars, which can then be converted into Event Points.

This is where the third point of Pacts are concerned and become involved. The Devil’s Moon event has players picking one of three sides with its own milestones and benefits to unlock across the event’s lifetime. This includes:

  • Infernal Pact Hunters:
    • Devil’s Advocate
    • Skinflint
    • Night Seer
    • Night Acolyte
    • Hawksaw Jack
    • Private Eye
    • Ochenkov’s Widow
  • Lunar Pact Hunters:
    • The Redneck
    • The Concubine
    • Witch Hunter
    • Sgt. Bridgewater
    • The Reverend
    • False Saint
  • Grounded Pact Hunters:
    • Frau Perchta
    • The Achaeologist
    • Teche Wraith
    • The Wayferer
    • Luna Wolf
    • Dire Wolf
    • Carcass Gunrunner

To reap the benefits from each one, players have to acquire a Pledge Mark as the Event Points boosters. As mentioned before, simply playing for the event’s objectives and challenges in each match will reward players with Events Point – this will eventually reach the mark of earning an initial Pledge Mark.

How to get Pledge Marks in Hunt: Showdown

On the Events’ Details page, we can see exactly how you can obtain these Pledge Marks. Players have to complete Challenges to earn the highest amount of Events Points. Pledge Marks then go towards gaining pact exclusive Traits that can be used at Supply Points in return of Pledge Boxes during gameplay.

Players will only be able to hold onto a certain amount at a time, so exchange them as often as possible. This is exactly 4 being the maximum on any Hunter to be carried around, and only 3 can be earned in any given match. This can be done in 3 ways:

  • By being the first Hunter/Team to collect 35 Event Points
  • By being the first Hunter/Team to banish the first Boss
  • By being the Hunter/Team to loot the first dead Hunter

That’s everything you need to know about the Devil Moon’s Pledge Mark in Hunt: Showdown.
