How to Get Out of the Mine in High on Life

I Guess I Live Here Now.

In High on Life’s Zephyr Paradise, there are a lot of chances to get lost. It’s a wide, open map that you’ll visit quite frequently as you take down the G3 cartel. But, one particular area of Zephyr is causing the most ire — the mine. This area is so annoying, but only because it’s an interconnected network of tunnels and caves that can turn you around rather easily. Read on to learn how to escape this treacherous mine!

How to Get Out of the Mine in High on Life

OK — so, from the point where you’re forced to jump from the — now, broken — elevator, take care of any enemies. If you want to pass by a shop with an upgrade for Kenny, follow the path to the right. If not, head left, then climb to the raised area, where a platform with a green splat rests vertically. Use Kenny’s Glob Shot to turn it horizontally, then use it again to catapult yourself across the bottomless ravine.

It might not be immediately obvious where to go from here, but look for a grapple point and use it. You will see that the path branches here, so go left. If you go right, you’ll enter the office area where Krubis’ office is located, but since we’re trying to get out of the mine, head left. Travel down the path, jumping over any obstacles until you reach a pretty wide gap. You can do one of two things here: if this is your first time in Zephyr, shoot the light green bulbs to create platforms and cross the gap. But, if this is a return trip, you can just use your jetpack and hover across the gap. Either way, get to the other side.

If you continue down the path, you’ll eventually run into a small, circular area that connects to another small, circular area. If this is your first time here, it’ll likely have some enemies to dispatch. Otherwise, it should be pretty barren. You’ll need to jump (or hover) onto the gigantic mushrooms in order to escape the mine. ‘ need to jump (or hover) onto the gigantic mushrooms in order to escape the mine.

Jump from mushroom to mushroom — keeping an eye out for any grapple points along the way — until you reach one with a zipline. Take the zipline up, and you’ll have successfully made it out of the mine!
