First of all, you will need to get the Original Scripture Papyrus Relic either from the Sanctum as a reward or buy it from Sister Divinia. Then, you should place it in the Relic Altar to turn your Sanctum in a no-hit run. Only by completing a Sanctum run and killing the Herald of the Scourge without getting hit will get you Original Sin.

Keep in mind that the Original Scripture Papyrus Relic is a single-use item, so stack up if you think you won’t be able to kill the Herald of the Scourge on the first go.

Once you get your hands on the Original Sin Amethyst Ring you will get its benefits that include 19% Chaos resistance, turning all your elemental damage to Chaos damage while simultaneously reducing the Chaos resistance of nearby enemies to 0. Any Chaos damage-based player’s dream.
