The only way to get Nature Mints in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl is by purchasing them in the Battle Park shop for 50 BP per Mint. Obtaining and using the Mints is how you change a Pokemon’s Nature, influencing its stats like Sp. Atk, Attack, Sp. Def, Defense, Speed, etc.

That said, you can only obtain these items in the post-game part of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. While the mints are pretty expensive in terms of Battle Points, it can be well worth the investment. You can check a Pokemon’s current nature by checking its Summary tab.

Go to the Battle Park, head north, and go into the left building. Walk inside the building and speak with the green-haired woman at the Exchange Service Corner. That’s where you can exchange your BP for ‘fabulous items’ such as Mints. There are twenty-one different types of mints, including:

  • Lonely Mint – A Pokemon’s Attack will grow more easily, but its Defense will grow more slowly.
