How to Get into Police Station in Dead Island 2 – Cold Pork Quest Guide

911, what's your emergency?

In the midst of a Zombie Apocalypse you can always expect the Police or Army to arrive and safe the day…or not. With the world ending and civilization ruined, it is not surprising that many of the safest or best areas to go to for shelter would be locked or completely inaccessible. You have to wonder, where is best place to go in a Zombie Apocalypse? You may think somewhere like a Police Station would be the best option but seeing as all of the Officers have gone to the other side, getting into the Armory or behind fortified walls is an impossible task for an standard citizen of LA. For those trying to get in regardless, this guide will show you how to enter the Police Station in Dead Island 2.

How to Complete Cold Pork in Dead Island 2

Enter the Police Station

If you are trying to get into the Police Station in Dead Island 2 for the Side Quest – Cold Pork, we have you covered. As you may have noticed, whilst the front door is unlocked to the building, you will quickly note that the Staff Only entrance is locked. But thankfully it is mechanically locked, rather than needing to search every Officer of the Law for the key, players can unlock the entrance to the Station another way. You may think that you would require a Keycard or Access Code to get inside with all of this high-tech but thankfully, Deep Silver Dambuster Studios are not that evil. The solution is simple, you need to destroy the two Power Supplies for the door.

The first is located on the left side of the Staff Only door, behind the Front Desk. You must have a weapon that can shoot bullets to destroy the Supplies as they are unreachable from the other side of the Staff Only door. The other Power Supply is located in the Restroom. Beware that there is a Zombie waiting on the other side. I will never understand how this situation happens in these Zombie Games of a human getting turned in the WC. Happened in The Last of Us and now in Dead Island 2, its a bizarre phenomenon. But if you are not used to this jumpscare, the Zombie will immediately attack when you interact with the door so be ready for it. The Power Supply is located on the left wall, in the upper right-corner (behind the door after you open it).

Where to Find the Assault Shotgun and Gun Case

When you get into the Staff Only area, take the first turn and go to the far right of the room to pick up the Police Department Keycard on the Bulletin Board shelf. Use this at the end of the corridor to get into main area of the Station. By going right, you will find another Zombie that you need to take out. Pick up the Storage Room Key off the gated window on your left. You can use this to get into the cage itself for the Evidence shelves and Armory. You will find the Assault Shotgun on the wall and the Gun Case next to the corpse on the floor. Return the Case to Blue Crab to complete the Side Quest – Cold Pork.
