Insect wings are a type of material that can drop from certain creatures. These wings can help craft things such as armor that will let you glide around the map. Which can prove to be very useful when traversing the wilderness without a mount.

In order to find insect wings, you’ll first need to find an insect with wings. It sounds redundant, but you will only be able to get insect wings from specific insects. The creatures you can get insect wings from are:
- Damselfly
- Bee
- Bee Drone
- Dragonfly
- Grey Fly
- Hornet
- Lubber
- Nocturnal Dragonfly
- Wasp
How to Craft the Regal Plate in Smalland: Survive the Wilds
Once you have your insect wings, make your way over to the NPC Drustana. They’ll give you the option to craft the plate, along with other parts of the Regal set. You’re going to need 12 Insect Wings, 12 Chitin, 6 Textile Patches, and 5 Herptile Leather. You won’t need the other pieces of the armor in order to glide, but they can prove very useful when deterring enemy attacks. Now grab that Regal plate and get ready to fall with style!
