Have you ever felt completely helpless in the middle of a galactic fight and all you wanted to do was facepalm? In Star Trek Fleet Command, you can now. Along with the other changes in Update 51, Hailing Frequencies a brand-new cosmetics for Star Trek Fleet Command, have been added. Learn more about this new system and how to obtain your hailing frequencies by reading on.
Communication with Emotion
Hailing Frequencies are Star Trek-themed emotes that may be used in-game. You will have a variety of options at your disposal to communicate in brand-new ways. Employ them in real time to wow other commanders in your system with your sense of flair or include them in your combat reports. Even emotes may be automated with certain conditions.
Hailing Frequencies are available through a variety of in-game actions. They may be found through the Shop, the Battle Pass, or through a number of in-game events. There are a good number of new tasks in Update 51, including 11 core missions. We particularly like the traditional facepalm and the straightforward “live long and prosper” among these new emotes.
Additional settings
There is an option to turn off this new feature if you prefer to retain radio quiet or if you become tired of seeing them over time. Make sure your app is completely updated, then go to general settings to discover the option. You may turn off the “Hailing Frequencies Enabled” setting by clicking it. Instead, you may long-tap on your ship in the ship selection screen to utilize Hailing Frequencies to find it.
