How to Get Gleaming Crystals in God of War Ragnarök

The whole world of God of War Ragnarök and its nine realms pack a humongous amount of content. Things to do, things to collect, things to kill, you name it. One simply can get into the game and be trapped by its magic and its quality. Having said that, a huge part of the game, just like its predecessor, is to continuously upgrade Kratos’ and Atreus skills and gear. And like a normal RPG would, you are going to need a bunch of resources you find in a wild to be able to do that with your armor and weapons. So this games just turned out to be a collect-a-thon in disguise. I love that, actually. Without further ado, here is how to get Gleaming Crystals in God of War Ragnarök.

How to Get Gleaming Crystals

Gleaming Crystals are quite special, the name pretty much gives it away. And things that are special, are often hidden from us, mere mortals. We’re lucky that we play as a god, otherwise this would be an impossible task. Unlike several other materials for gear upgrading, Gleaming Crystals are bound to their specific location. You won’t find them in the wild, or in coffins or treasure chests. You will have to progress further into the game and visit Vanaheim and complete Favor: Scent of Survival. We’re heading towards the Wishing Well. In the surrounding areas, you’re going to break all the yellow/orange crystals that you can find and collect either Crystalline Fragments or Crystalline Shards. Once you collect them, head to the Wishing Well and thrown them as an offering. You will receive several rewards, including the Gleaming Crystals.

So if you want to upgrade your gear to the max, make sure to grind those crystals and make a wish in the Wishing Well. It will make your gear dreams come true.
