Murder Mystery 2, as you may have guessed by its title, is a murder mystery game on Roblox. In this multiplayer game, a handful of players are given randomly generated roles. The majority of players will receive an innocent role, though there will always be at least one murderer. If the innocent players figure out who the murderer is before they’re all killed, then they win, but if the murderer manages to kill everyone off before they’re caught, then the murderer wins. If you like playing games like Among Us or Clue, then you’d definitely love Murder Mystery 2!

One of the most exciting parts about Murder Mystery 2 is getting to buy all of the cool pets, weapons, and special powers from the in-game shop. Unfortunately, however, if you want cool items in this game, you’ll need to get a lot of gems. Gems aren’t nearly as easy to get in Murder Mystery 2 as they are in other games; keep reading to find out how to get gems in Murder Mystery 2!

How to Get Gems in Murder Mystery 2

You’d think that since Murder Mystery 2 is such a massively popular Roblox game, it’d be easy to get gems, but you’d be wrong. Gems are a lot harder to come by in Murder Mystery 2 than you’d think, despite them being required for numerous items in the in-game shop. In fact, there’s only one way to get your hands on gems in this game.

Despite them being one of the game’s main forms of currency, the only way to get gems in Murder Mystery 2 is by purchasing them with Robux. Buying in-game currency with another form of in-game currency that was bought with real-life currency seems pretty redundant, but unfortunately, it’s currently the only way for anyone to get gems in this game.

Each gem is worth about 1 Robux, which doesn’t seem like too terrible of a deal until you realize you can only buy them in massive bundles. Here are all of the available gem bundles and their prices in Murder Mystery 2:

  • 100 Gems – 100 Robux
  • 400 Gems – 400 Robux
  • 800 Gems – 800 Robux
  • 1,700 + 300 (2,000) Gems – 1,700 Robux
  • 4,500 + 1,000 (5,500) Gems – 4,500 Robux
  • 10,000 + 3,000 (13,000) Gems – 10,000 Robux

What Are Gems Used for in Murder Mystery 2?

Gems are the second main form of currency in Murder Mystery 2, with the other form of currency being coins (thankfully, you don’t have to buy coins with Robux). Gems can be used to buy a lot of exclusive gear in Murder Mystery 2’s in-game shop, including crates, mystery keys, eggs, emotes, powers, and even weapon effects!

Gems are used for a lot of stuff in this game, it sucks that the only way you can get them is through Robux. Hopefully, the developers of Murder Mystery 2 will add a feature that allows players to earn gems without spending money in the future.
