Once you have completed the first selected world in Remnant 2, players will gain access to a new area. Named The Labyrinth, players will have to navigate this eroding location in order to progress. As with most locations, materials that will help you create new weapons will be stashed all around the maps. And for those looking to take advantage of an electric type weapon, you’re in luck. There’s a weapon that can be obtained through The Labyrinth, one that will help turn the tides against the onslaught of deadly creatures. So let’s open a portal and figure out how to get electric type handgun in Remnant 2.
How to Get Electric Type Handgun in Remnant 2
In Remnant 2, guns and melee weapons are able to be enhanced with elemental effects through the use of weapon mods. Mods can either be inserted into a gun after finding or crafting it, otherwise weapons might come with specific mods attached. Our electric type handgun, otherwise known as Enigma, comes equipped with the Overflow mod. This mod cannot be removed, and you aren’t able to craft it outside of the weapon.

To craft the Enigma, you’ll need to get your hands on a Cipher Rod. Along with Lumenite Crystals and Scrap, the Cipher Rod is a unique crafting material you’ll need to get from The Labyrinth. After falling through a purple portal, you’ll reach a checkpoint where you can rest. In front of that will be a shifting portal that you’ll need to jump through. You’ll have to wait until the portal shows a path that has no ground. Going through the portal at this time will fling you downward onto newly visible ground, and players will be met with a few enemies to dispatch. Once this is done, you can pick up the Cipher Rod behind the statue in the middle, and head back to McCabe to craft your electric type handgun.
