How to Get Caliban in Warframe

In the Warframe lore, the Sentient were originally terraforming androids sent to the Tau System by the Orokin to get it all nice and pretty for them. To make this task easier for them, the machines had highly-adaptive systems that gave them the skills and tech to overcome just about anything, unfortunately including their own lack of free will. The Sentient are one of the more dangerous races out there, but if their tech can be integrated into a Warframe, you’d have one heck of a weapon on your hands. On that note, here’s how to get Caliban in Warframe.

The Caliban Warframe, just added to the game this week, incorporates Sentient technology to spread screaming, technological death to everyone unlucky enough to be standing nearby. Like other Warframes, to obtain the Caliban, you’ll need to assemble it with a blueprint and its component parts.

To get Caliban in Warframe

  1. Purchase the blueprint from the Market with Credits
  2. Complete Narmer Bounties on the Plains of Eidolon/Orb Vallis to obtain the component blueprints
  3. Assemble the parts to obtain Caliban

The first thing you need to get Caliban is the Warframe blueprint. The good news is that I can tell you exactly where it is. The bad news is that it’s in the Market, and you’ll have to pony up Credits for it. Hopefully you’ve been saving up. It should also be noted that you can’t purchase the Blueprint until you’ve finished the quest “The New War,” which makes sense since it’s a Sentient-related affair.

After you’ve gotten the blueprints, you’ll then need to obtain the blueprints for the Warframe’s components: the Chassis, the Systems, and the Neuroptics. All three of these can be obtained by clearing Narmer Bounties, also unlocked after clearing “The New War.” These bounties can be found during the daytime on the Plains of Eidolon. At night, they’ll switch over to Orb Vallis. These bounties will also get you the materials you need to assemble the components. Once you’ve got all three components, just stick ‘em all together, and you’ve got yourself a Caliban!
